Sounds ridiculous enough.
Daddy is a pretty big outdoors person. He loves fishing, camping, playing sports... pretty much anything that involves outside activities.
While mommy and Ty are apparently allergic to sweating, bugs and sunshine... Daddy and Lucas are two of a kind.
It all started with 2 fishing rods, one tackle box, some lures and a mid day trip to the nearest neighborhood lake. It quickly evolved into a 7 year old's sick obsession with fishing, fish and bait.
Who gets excited about a fishing app on the iphone? Who sits in front of a computer for hours just to look at photos of fish other people caught?
Who goes to the supermarket and is astounded by the dead fish that will soon become someone's dinner?
My son, that's who!
Although I'll never truly understand this hobby... or why anyone would ask for fishing lures for his birthday (what's a Banjo Mino and why are you watching the informercial!?!?!) I'm happy to see him express this kind of passion for something healthy and safe.
Now if we start planning trips to seek out the Bigfoot monster, we're going to have a problem.
